The seasoned Nollywood performer John Okafor, often known as Mr. Ibu, has passed away.
The comedic actor ultimately gave in to the icy grip of death after undergoing procedures that resulted in the amputation of his limb.
Recall that, prior to his passing, there were rumors circulating about his death after he had been out of the public eye for more than three years, at which point word spread that he was bedridden.
Recall that in 2019, Mr. Ibu claimed that, as a result of his lucrative job, his relatives had bribed several of his domestic workers to poison him.
The comedian claimed to have been poisoned a third time in May 2022.
Although Okafor was already “seeing people on the other side,” he said in an interview with Vanguard Newspaper that God had revived him.
As he put it, “Those who despise me really caused my illness.” I was subjected to what they did. I ended up being brought to the hospital later. Physicians are seers. After accessing my system, they informed me of the issue and their plan of action. My words were, “Whatever you have to do, please do it. I have to live because my enemies will laugh if I die this way.” “All right, there’s no problem,” the physicians then stated.
I had no idea what had happened at the moment. I got out! Whatever I was saying, then, was captured on camera. I was speaking in a way that suggested I was going insane. The truth is, I wasn’t seeing anyone. I was seeing some deceased folks, though, where I was at the moment on the other side. I was restored by God.
He claimed that although his adversaries were pleased with his ailment and believed he wouldn’t survive, God miraculously restored his health.
The actor expressed his gratitude for the “big lesson” his illness had taught him and expressed surprise at his own survival.
