The lawsuit issued by Martha Ankomah against Lilwin

Lilwin and Martha

Comedian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, better known by his stage name Lil Win, has responded to actress Martha Ankomah’s lawsuit against him over remarks he made about her.

On February 14, 2024, we revealed that Martha Ankomah had chosen to give Lil Win an unexpected lawsuit for Valentine’s Day after he had insulted her in a self-recorded video by mocking the Kumawood industry.

In that tirade video, Lil Win claims that Martha Ankomah declined a film role when Director Frank Fiifi Garbin contacted her, citing the films’ lackluster plots as her justification.

After that, Lil Win continued to insult Martha Ankomah with offensive language, which even infuriated some online users.

After remaining silent for the entire time, Martha Ankomah made the decision to file a lawsuit and seek GHC $5 million in damages.

Lil Win chose to reply to her hours after the lawsuit made its way onto social media by posting an outdated clip of Asiedu Nketiah of the NDC declaring that anybody can file a lawsuit.

He wrote as the caption: “The Court serves as the guardian and interpreter of the Constitution as well as the ultimate arbiter of the law, tasked with guaranteeing the Ghanaian people the promise of equal justice under the law. My Life is a Movie. Ghana, long live? movie,” as his response to the lawsuit.
