Over the weekend, on Adom TV’s Showtym with Andy Dosty, entertainment pundit Sally Mann and Ghanaian gospel performer Selassie Brown engaged in a duel.

Evangelist Diana Asamoah’s recent statement that Cecilia Marfo’s church might have failed because it wasn’t built on God’s will sparked a discussion on the program.

Sally Mann expressed her thoughts on the subject, hinting that John the Baptist was the final prophet of God and that the priesthood had come to an end. She said that the reason Cecilia Marfo’s church fell apart was that it wasn’t inspired by God.

“I challenge anyone claiming to be a pastor to read their Bibles thoroughly in order to realize that the priesthood is no longer in existence. Christ’s declaration that it is finished on

You’ll even realize that Christians have no business paying tithes. These are all stuff of the past. All that is left to offer us eternal life is Christ. In light of this, I first think that God was not involved in Cicilia Marfo’s church’s collapse. And by default, Andy, it will fall apart if it is not from God. She cited Luke 16:16 to bolster her position, saying, “I am not surprised and I will not be surprised to see other churches also collapse.”

During her appearance on the show, Selassie Brown refuted Sally’s claim, stating that prophets and the priesthood are still in existence.

We all have faith, in my opinion. I beg to differ, though. The priesthood is still active. And it won’t in any manner.
