Funny Face, an actor and comedian, is eager to start over and get away from his current situation.
On Tuesday, April 9, Funny Face, whose true name is Benson Nana Oduro, was granted bail in the amount of GH₵120,000 along with two sureties.
He was taken into custody on March 24 after, that evening, his Hyundai Atos struck and killed five pedestrians.
After being accused of driving under the influence, he was placed under remand for a fortnight before being freed from custody.
Funny Face decided to take a sea bath soon after being freed in an attempt to start over and put his old problems behind him.
Funny Face apologized for his activities that caused the disaster and the falling of other people during an interview with Kofi TV.
“I’ve put myself in a difficult situation. I am not to blame for everything I went through. The main source of my issue is me. Nobody will ever comprehend what you are going through, yet there are times when you do things and others become weary of you; that is the point I have reached.
Not everyone is able to endure what I have. I am grateful to Ghanaians for their support in helping me endure all of these terrible experiences and remain alive. Funny Face stated in the video, “There is only God in this life.
He begged Ghanaians for forgiveness and stated that he planned to put in a lot of effort once more in order to recover.
“I want to talk to Jehovah one-on-one and purify myself in the water. I felt compelled to come and perform this in order to honor God. I must do this in order to communicate with God and request that he return the favor that he did for me.I’m sorry, and I hope Ghanaians would give me another chance,” he said.
