Chef Ebenezer Smith of Ghana has successfully finished his culinary marathon, having put in over 800 hours of work.
Chef Smith started his bid at the Guinness World Record on February 1, 2024, determined to break the record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
He had been cooking for more than a month when he finished on March 6, 2024, having put in an astounding 820 hours.
His cook-a-thon on March 5 brought an impressive line-up of artists, including Kofi Jamar, Yaw Tog, Praye Tietia, Amerado, and Asakaa Boys.
Throughout this unprecedented endeavor, a number of celebrities have visited the Amadia Shopping Centre at Spintex to offer their support for the chef’s incredible performance. These celebrities include Kwaku Manu, Nana Ama McBrown, Clemento Suarez, SDK, and OB Amponsah.
The Amadia Shopping Center at Spintex, the venue of the event, is sponsoring his culinary marathon.
