Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has declared his plan to file an appeal against the Accra High Court’s ruling for him to give journalist Anthony Sarfo GHC $1 million in damage
The ruling concerned a case of wrongful arrest arising from claims of extortion after to Gyan’s alleged attack.
Gyan voiced his displeasure with the decision, saying, as 3xtra reported, “There is no way I should lose that case,” and “I will definitely appeal because it doesn’t make sense.
He expressed doubts about the judge’s ruling, alluded to a plot, and promised to look into the situation further.
On Friday, December 8, the High Court rendered a decision after Justice Ernest Owusu Dapaa determined that the Asamoah Gyan manager was the one who initiated the malicious prosecution.
Journalist Anthony Sarfo, who was involved in the lawsuit, expressed his happiness with the ruling.
