Being a huge fan of the highlife musician, Afua performed a few of his songs during her quest to break the record for the longest singing marathon, as she revealed to IB Ben Bako.
Her statement to IB was, “Kuami Eugene is my crush oo.”
During her sing-a-thon performance in Akwaaba Village, she recalled that Kuami Eugene paid her a visit. When the Rockstar saw her, she found herself unable to recall some phrases.
I mentioned I was having trouble remembering my lyrics when that guy came. I remarked, “I’m worried about this guy.” Kuami Eugene is the record holder if the Guinness guys don’t award it to me,” she said.
Kuami Eugene is one of her favorite people, Afua continued, and her husband knows it.
My lover is aware. Upon his arrival, I replied to him, “Kuami, you have caused me concern.” It wasn’t right of you to come. You know his rap follows after I sing “Asuoden.” I did everything that escaped my memory while I stood there,” she continued.
