Performing gospel music in Ghana is not profitable – Sonnie Badu

Sonnie Badu stated that it is more profitable to preach the gospel in Nigeria than it is in Ghana in an interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat.

This is one of the reasons, in his opinion, why the majority of secular artists do not perform gospel.

“They shouldn’t have stopped doing gospel music because it isn’t profitable.

They get nothing and receive subpar treatment.

We simply hand them over whatever. If you’re a gospel performer and you visit Airport Shell, there ought to be a place where you can get anything you want for nothing. You can pick it up for free at the airport if you can jump on Delta. The engineer will remark, “Hey, you are a gospel artist, this is free,” when you go to the studio to record a song, the man stated.

According to Sonnie Badu, every musician and instrumentalist that performs with him gets paid.

Therefore, there is a cost associated with logistics for this activity of God, even though they are free. Each musician on my show has an invoice, which I pay. There will be payment for each instrumentalist.

“Do not attempt it if you lack the courage; you are incapable of doing it. I also understand if you would like to repay the favor by doing me a favor. However, nothing in this world is free.
