Following widely circulated allegations that she was unable to surpass the record for the longest singing marathon by one individual in the Guinness Book of Records, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum has now broken her silence.
The Guinness Book of Records stated in its post regarding X’s unsuccessful attempt that she was notified at the time she paid for the expedited service, which has left many online users wondering why she remained mute. This is in response to questions raised by the public.
As she acknowledged in her statement that her attempt did not work as planned, the information reached her today, Friday, February 23, 2024.
The President, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, was expected to attend the gala dinner and opening of the Lebanese Scholarship Alumni Network, she said, when she learned of the situation.
Afua also mentioned that she would soon reveal her next course of action.
